The CDC report on Climate Change

and the affects of global warming on health.

Yep, they are at it again. The White House put the skids on a 12 page report given to Congress. I guess there just wasn't enough time....

Rain Rain, go away.

I read about China wanting to divert the rain away from their Olympic experience. How is diverting, or for that matter seeding clouds possibly good for the environment?

Atlanta is without water as well as tons of other palces on earth, and China is apparently getting very good at making it rain on demand, or....as in the case of the Olympics diverting the rain...

At least that's what they would like to have happen.

Sorry, But I Have To Ask...Senator Larry Craig (R) Idaho

Larry, Larry Larry. I can kind of get that you spread your legs apart a little far to keep you pants off of the nasty floor in public toilets. I got that. But, pardon me I have to ask these next questions. Enquiring minds want to know. You know how that goes don't you Larr?

If you are trying to keep your pants clean did you or did you not opt to use a paper 'ass gasket' before you assumed the 'wide stance' and plopped yourself down?

If you did use the paper 'ass gasket' kudos to you for being hygienic. If you did carefully place the paper 'ass gasket' on the seat why in the hell were you picking up paper off of the nasty toilet floor? Was there no toilet paper in the infamous stall?

If you didn't intend to wipe your ass with the toilet paper that was on the floor, by the way, totally unhygienic...maybe you were simply being so fastidious you were merely policing your area? See Larry, those toilets were, pardon the pun, already being policed.

Public service is one thing, being serviced in a public toilet quite another. Servicing the public toilet really goes above and beyond the term 'public servant'

Oh it's hard to have it both ways isn't it?

Richard Jewell is Dead...Atlanta NOT bomber!

How many people remember Richard Jewell as the Atlanta Bomber? The guy that everyone was so sure planted a bomb so that he could discover it and be a hero...well everyone was wrong.

I remember watching the incident on TV, I remember being proud of Richard Jewell for saving so many lives and then I remember thinking how badly I had been duped.

Whether it was an accidental leak from the FBI, or it was an intentional one meant to apply pressure to Jewell so he would fold, this poor man should have been compensated for the stress and heart ache he endured. Janet Reno said "I'm very sorry it happened. I think we owe him an apology. I regret the leak."

Well Janet, thinking you owe someone an apology as opposed to actually giving him one are not the same things. The real bomber Eric Rudolph in fact was never caught on Janet Reno's watch.

Richard Jewell, was a good man trying to do a good thing. He was a good son. I didn't know Richard Jewell but, I know he was a good son because 10 years after the Centennial Olympic Park bombing his biggest regret was having his mother swell with pride only to see her jewbulation stripped from her. Now that's a good son.

Had the DOJ, the FBI or anyother agency responded to their 'mistake' with some just compensation everyone would have remembered Jewell differently. I would have remember him as the guy they tried to screw and had to pay because of it...

I want my money back...I want the money that my taxes paid to help pay Janet Reno, that helped to pay the FBI agents...I want my money back that helped to ruin yet another perfectly good life.

Rest in Peace Richard Jewell, they 'done you wrong'.

Senator Larry Craig...I don't believe a word

Oh please let's get down to the brass tacks here shall we?

Craig claims when he has a bowel movement he requires a 'wider stance' with his feet...that's so he can relieve himself of all the Sh*t he is packing around.

This guy is finished. He claims his hand under the stall next to him palm up (according to the arrest report) was just there picking up a sheet of toilet paper off of the floor....

OH please...the guy has already pleaded guilty back when this happened ...to make it go away quietly...

Well this isn't going to go away. I think Larry Craig has to go away...far far away.

Read the arrest report here!

Who Knew? There Really is a Secret Hand Shake...err Foot Shake and Senator Larry Craig Knows What That is!

Okay Ewwwwwe! Too much information.

They say you live and learn, okay maybe there are some things people just don't need to learn. As in there is actually a signal that men can use in public toilets that will signal to another man he is willing to participate in some sort of sex.

Now I'm not going to cast any stones here, I'll say I haven't come across it, but if there is a signal that men use, there most probably is a signal that women wanting sex use as well. Are they the same? Who the heck knows.

Back to that living and learning thing. Thanks to Senator Larry Craig and his unfortunate misunderstanding at the men's public toilets at a Minnesota airport, I now know too much! Oh lordie lordie, way too much. In all fairness to Larry Craig I didn't have to google feet in public toilets, but I was looking for a picture to post here so plenty of what I just found out really isn't Larry Craig's fault...that said I'd like to know how Larry Craig found out about the secret foot shake...okay maybe I don't want to know how he found out.

It's enough to say obviously this guy has engaged in this sorted behaviour in the past...that's how he knew about the secret foot tapping toe touching hand waving signals he used to get himself arrested in the public toilet in the public airport, while serving the public of the great state of Idaho, and the United States in general...and I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Here is one more guy, decrying the actions of the 'homosexuals' at every turn, while he is poking strange men in strange places...in strange toilets in strange cities...
Can you tell this all seems strange to me?

I guess my question is why are those most vocal about 'values' are the ones most likely to be engaging in the acts they are opposing?

Not that anyone has ever been able to define what the HELL they mean when they say "Values". I grew up thinking a value was paying $2.00 for a jar of pickles worth $3.50...now that's a value!!!

It really is time to line them all up against a wall and pants them and send them all home to what ever perverted, delusional and twisted lives they were leading before they were sent mistakenly to Washington...

I do want my money back, and by the way I want my government back too. I'm beginning to feel there should be an age restriction on holding office and maybe that age should be only those 17 to 22 years of age. We need some innocents and clean slates. Those in Washington are looking more and more like a colony of decaying leprotics...

We Took Fluffy to a Farm Where He Could Run Free...

They say there are about 50 dogs that may have to be put down as a result of the single celled pond life I'm calling Amoeba-vick enterprize.

I don't believe these dogs can be rehabilitated to the point they could ever be trusted in the general population. I do believe they deserve to be taken to the 'farm'.

Amoeba-vick, as part of his debt to society should have to buy each of his victims a half acre of land, cozy housing, good feed and a caretaker. These poor dogs fell victim to the blood lust and financial greed of the lowest form of life. These dogs need to be cared for in a humane way for the rest of their natural lives. Amoeba-vick has the financial resources to make this restitution and he should be made to do so.

Each dog should be able to chase a ball or a rabbit. Each needs to know the simple "dog joy" of napping on the grass in the shade of an oak tree with a full tummy. Each should be free to dream of chasing rabbits, free to put the nightmares they have lived and witnessed behind them.

For those saying these dogs are too dangerous to live, I say we keep lions and tigers and bears in zoos in circumstances deemed to be some humane. These dogs are no more dangerous than the polar bears living in captivity, and would certainly be easier to care for and contain than a lion.

Putting these dogs to death is the same as saying any life once sullied by crime, or circumstance is no longer a viable life.

We know what D O G is spelled backwards...that didn't happen by accident. Dog truly is man's best friend. A dog treated humanly only wants to be part of the team. He gives unconditional love when treated humanely. He will sacrifice his life for his teammates if he feels the need. He will starve to death right along with his crew if that's what life's circumstances present.

I'm haven't lost sight of the fact that there are people in this world being tortured and murdered everyday. My heart bleeds for the condition of this world. In many ways that same condition has lead to people behaving far worse than wild animals. But, this is one single incicent where we know who had commited the crime, where there is the money to make some restitution to the victims rather than executing the victim.

I believe if these dogs are allowed to be euthanized then we as a society have given up our collective humanity.

Amoeba-Vick

Any of a large genus (Amoeba) of naked rhizopod protozoans with lobed and never anastomosing pseudopodia, without permanent organelles or supporting structures.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket This is what a puppy should look like.

I've never been a fan of Pit bulls or Rottweilers or any type of dog that people have bred to be vicious. I understand fully the argument that owners of these breeds of dogs make; dogs are taught to be vicious. I understand and have really quite a lot of empathy for that argument, but I'm sorry I'm still not trusting of these breeds of dogs. For that matter I'm not completely trusting of any dog, except my own.

BUT, and that is a big BUT, when was the last time you heard of anyone being killed by being mauled by a poodle? Today it isn't about the breed of dog however, it's about a breed of non-human.

This is not what a puppy should look like!

I have no earthly idea how long Michael Vick will serve in prison on this planet, but I have some idea of how long he will have to serve in the after-life prison.

I don't usually think about these things, I really don't like to assume what the creator has in mind, but there can be no question that anyone that abuses the helpless has a 'special' place reserved the exclusive establishment we mortals call Hell.

Even the worst of the worst in the prison systems have a way of reserving special treatment for those convicted of the most heinous of crimes. Child killers, child molesters, and the Jeffery Dauhmer types seemingly do meet with a special kind of justice once they get behind bars.

Vick may end up starting his sentence eternal sentence sooner than he thinks. After all, I have heard this said "you can F*** with my money, you can F*** with my hair, but don't...Don't F*** with my dog.

People like their dogs. Vick's camp is coming out nearly daily with words of contrition. "Mr. Vick knows now he made a mistake". NO...that won't cut it. I now know I made a mistake is what one says when they find the error they made while balancing their check book. A mistake is picking up the fat-free salad dressing instead of the Ranch dressing.

Michael Vick knew what he was doing was wrong. He knew what he was involved in was cruel to the nth degree. He knew what he was doing would ruin him and destroy the life he was leading. All this is evidenced by his attempts at keeping what he was doing hidden.

Now the NAACP doesn't think that Michael Vick should be banned from playing Pro-football. I frankly don't think he should be banned either. Logic might dictate that would be a just outcome for what he has done after he has finished serving his sentence, but I hope that he isn't banned.

I for one would like to see who if anyone would actually share a dressing room with this amoebae. I'd like to see what organization if any would be so bold as to spit in the face of every decent fan by giving this 'amoebae' a spot on a team.

Michael Vick should have his name erased from every page on which it has been written.

I vow to never write his name again. If I make any reference to him in the future it will be as amoeba-vick, the former, if ever, human being that ruined his own life by his own cruelty.

Amoeba-vick this is what a puppy should look like!

Flying the Flag Upside Down & Executive Order 13438. Dark Days for Our Nation.

These two topics are inextricable. What a tangled web is being woven in plain sight, and yet somehow woven in what feels like total darkness.

A couple in Asheville North Carolina were arrested in the early dawn hours and taken away to the Buncombe County Jail. Why? For flying the U.S. flag upside down.

It's common knowledge that to display the flag upside down is an indication of distress. So common is this knowledge in fact, on July 18th an Asheville police officer stopped at the Kuhn residence to do a welfare check. At that time the Kuhns told the officer they had hung the flag upside down "...as a show of desperation-our country is in distress and we just don't know what to do.

We asked if we had violated any ordinance." The Kuhn's were told at that time by the officer 'no, you have every right.'

To avoid any confusion regarding the disposition of the flag Mark and Deborah then posted a picture of GW Bush with an explanation of their reasons for displaying the flag in it's 'distress' position.

The 'plot' thickens when we find out that a couple of days after the 'welfare' check a man dressed in fatigues, driving a car with federal license plates knocked at the Kuhn's residence. They were told by this man to either take down the flag or hang it right side up.

Several of the Kuhn's neighbors witnessed the same man driving in past the Kuhn's several times. Neighbor accounts also reveled, men dressed in fatigues came and took pictures of the flag in the night.

As the Kuhns were being arrested, days later, a man dressed in fatigues drove by and
shouted from his vehicle "go to jail, baby!".

The story only gets more bizarre from here. One deputy Brian Scarborough turned up at the Kuhn home Wednesday morning. Deputy Scarborough presented the Kuhns with a document containing a copy of a State Statute covering 'flag desecration' at that
time Mark and Deborah took the flag down.

Living in this 'nation of laws' as the President continues to remind us, the Kuhn's were well within their rights to take the flag down, as they did, and return to their bed. They could then have investigated the 'statute' later and determined if they were within their rights to fly the flag upside down. The deputy too, in this 'nation of laws' could have obtained a legal arrest warrant if it was determined by the District Attorney that the Kuhn's were in violation of any laws.

But, that isn't the way the story played out. Now we need to get with the real program here.

The Kuhn's live in the city of Asheville, where a jurisdiction would be Asheville police as noted by the original visit paid to the Kuhn's home by the Asheville Police on July 18. But, deputy Scarborough is with the Buncombe County sheriffs department.

According to Lt. Randy Sorrell even though the address was in the city of Ashville, "when we receive a complaint that a law is being broken, we have to respond."

In the most bizarre turn of events, what would compel a county sheriff to approach
law abiding citizens residing inside the city limits regarding a statute. A State
Statute which if the Kuhn's were found in violation of is still only a misdemeanor.

In a case like this if as Lt. Randy Sorrell states they received a complaint that a
law was being broken, from whom did they receive the complaint and who determined that indeed a misdemeanor State Statute was being broken?

Would not the correct action, if the sheriff had indeed received a complaint, had
been to first determine if the law had been broken? Was deputy Scarborough acting as State Attorney, Judge, and Jury? Shouldn't this 'complaint' been referred back to the State for a 'legal determination'?

It appears that at best a warning, if the Kuhn's had broken the law and removal or proper display of the flag would have been in order. Which the Kuhns were more than willing to do, if they were in violation. The State could have even issued a fine, as would have been proper.

Removing the flag wasn't enough for Deputy Scarborough because even after the Kuhns took the flag down, and explained themselves Scarborough then demanded their 'indetificaion'.

In a scene that could only hearken back to WWII's Nazi Germany "I need to see your 'papers' the Kuhns must have been seeing the handwriting on the wall.

The Kuhns wanted to know why the Deputy kept asking for their I.D.'s. They asked
if they were going to be arrested.

In an account Deborah Kuhn gave to Air America Radio the couple went back inside their home, Deborah calling 911 in an attempt to bring more police, not to evade the single deputy on her front porch.

Deputy Scarborough with his bare fist broke the window on their front door after several attempts to kick the door in failed.

She said the deputy chased her husband Mark with his billy club to the back of the
house.

After calling 911 Deborah then ran outside into the street and began screaming
for help waking neighbor Sam York who came out to find a surreal scene.

According to Deborah, the Deputy provided no warrant, nor did he ask for permission to enter the Kuhn's home. The flag was taken as evidence, though now there is no record of that and the flag is missing.

An eyewitness account by an early morning worker in the neighborhood backs up the Kuhn's account of what happened.

As neighbors became aware of what was happening to the Kuhn's they began to
come into the street and ask with what crime the Kuhn's were being charged. Their questions were met with it's 'none of your business' by the deputies. Shawn Brady and several of his roommates told the deputies, it was their business because the Kuhn's were their neighbors.

The Kuhn's were taken to the Buncombe County Detention Facility where they were charged with two counts of assaulting a government official, and one count each of resisting arrest and desecrating an American Flag. Their son bailed them out.

Now, with Executive Order 13438, issued by GW Bush, on July 17, 2007 the Kuhn's and people like them could face having their property seized for political dissent.

This 'nation of laws' was indeed created upon the back of 'political dissent'.

Executive Order 13438 essentially dissolves our right to disagree with this administration. It evaporates our right to a judicial or legislative action or review by a court.

These are dark days and becoming darker. Though just as it's common knowledge hanging the flag upside down is a sign of distress, it's also know that 'it's always darkest before the dawn'.

Beth Hammer, a 65 year old retired bank employee in Wheat Ridge,Colorado and her husband could certainly face the same end. Since March the couple has been displaying their flag upside down as a symbol of distress and silent, peaceful protest against the war in Iraq.

Cambridge Park Homeowners Association and their policies on Political expression be damned, at issue here is the 'Bush Association' and their policies on political expression we need to worry about.

NASA Lunitics: I Want My Money Back

So....let's see what the money gets US tax payers today.

At NASA the suposed premier space agency on earth. Suposedly manned by the creme d'la creme the US has to offer, produces the Lunitic Lisa Nowak. What she did was extremely troublesome however, there probably isn't anyone that hasn't felt at least a small burst of insanity when it comes to 'love'.

What should make the American Tax payer go a little bit Lunitic is what may be coming out in a report being released by NASA today.

It seems an independant health panel was set up to find out just what pushed their lil'miss Lisa over the top causing her to go 'Nowak'. Nowak is now the term used by all my best girlfriends to discribe the lunitic behaviour men can induce on normally sane women.

Getting back to the independant health panel and their findings. Aparently on at least 2 seperate occasions, the cream of the crop, the most studied and tested humans in America were allowed to fly while drunk.

Drunk, okay.

Now I've said time and time again, "I'm not a rocket scientist" but, the more I read the more I realize I missed my calling. And not just me, but apparently nearly all of us are smarter than rocket scientits.

These drunk astronauts were so drunk they indeed posed a safety risk, yet they were allowed to fly in spite of warnings from flight surgeons and other astronauts.
Well wake up and smell the coffee astronauts, it looks like no one at NASA gives a plug nickle what happens to you.

Were I a rocket scientist, or an astronaut for that matter, I'd be kicking ass and taking names.

It's well past time that the American Tax Payers put their foot down. Too much for too long and sadly turned into too little too late. If you want me to keep paying your salary, you'd better keep the cork in the bottle and the nut jobs out of diapers and off my interstates!

The health panel, according to Aviation Week & space Technology reports that the independant health panel also found "heavy use of Alcohol" before launch within the stadard 12-hour 'bottle-to-throttle' rule.

Okay, Ladies and Gentlemen in Congress, I for one want my money back.

NASA will no doubt try to spin unsubstantiated claims, maybe people with a grudge were telling lies. They may say members of the crew and not pilots were too drunk to fly...I don't care how they spin this one out.

Americans, and the rest of the world for that matter have been led to believe over the course of decades that NASA really was the top of the top guns.
It turns out the 60's sitcom "I dream of Jeannie" wasn't really fiction. What a barrel of Lunes!

Former shuttle commander Eileen Collins was stunned at the news of drinking, stunned I'll bet.

NASA has been plagued by troubles for a long long time. Now we are about to find out why.

I want my money back. How about you?

This Season Carbon is the New 'Black', Next Season Carbon may be the new Money!

One day I'll be changing the name of this blog from I Want My Money Man to I Want My Carbon Credits Man!

This is an incredible idea in the scheme of things. With Global Warming taking on a snowball effect, it won't be too long before Carbon Credits will be worth more than gold.

Multi-national corporations are already jockeying up for a desired post position when Carbon Credits become the new currency. This is a sleeper, but none the less huge.

HSBC who bills themselves as 'The World's Local Bank' looks to be the odds on favorite to win the Carbon Credit Savvy position. Claiming to have 'around 10,000 offices in 82 countries and territories across the world' when HSBC lines up for Carbon Credit we need to pay attention.

HSBC itself doesn't have a large carbon footprint, it recently committed to going carbon neutral. What better way to dig into the emissions trading scene? HSBC will develop the experience necessary to become the 'carbon currency experts'. HSBC has a small carbon footprint, but it has clients with large ones who will no doubt in the near future be needed carbon-financial planning. My hat is off to the Worlds Local Bank for seeing into the future and the what will inevitable 'carbon futures' trading.

With this in mind does anyone really have to wonder why Russia just jumped on the Kyoto Protocol?

Now we ask...Where is the US on this one. If there are no forces at work below the radar conspiring to bring the US down to its economic knees, it sure feels like there are.

EPA Closing Field Offices, Fast Tracking Performance Track Facilities, and Just Wasting Our Money!

Congressman John Dingell has writen to the Enviornmental Protection Agency's Acting Inspector General, Bill Roderick asking him to explain himself.

Not exactly in the Ricky Ricardo 'splain yourself Lucy' style, but the point is hammered home none the less.

Congressman Dingell writes "We request that you cite the specific authority that allows you to make the early buyout offers at this time and indicate when you first requested this authority for the OIG." Office of Inspector General.

He further states in his letter of March 22, "...you notified all OIG employees that it was 'very likely we will have to close facilities and/or conduct a reduction in force to meet our '08 budget target and prepare for operating at a continually reducing level over the long term.' Dingell writes, "You already appear to have begun a buyout initiative that would require staff to leave as early as April 30, 2007.

Congressman Dinglee requested that Roderick give his assurance that no plans
will be initiated, or put in place to close any OIG field offices without providing his committee with 60 day advance notice.

In a letter dated April 13, 2007 to Stephen Johnson, Administrator of the EPA
from the Committee on Energy and
Commerce we get some insight into why the OIG may be running out of money.
An unknown policy by most Americans known as "performance Track", now in its 5th year, companies in voluntary compliance with a commitment to environmental improvements that exceed regulatory requirements receive some nice benefits and incentives from the EPA.

The first problematic benefit is placing these 'preformance track' memeber
companies at low priority states for inspections:
  • Reduced monitoring and reporting under several Federal environmental laws.
    Perhaps most troubling:
  • 'Special Access' to EPA decision makers.
  • Longer periods for storage of hazardous wastes.
  • Priority status for certain permit reviews.

Sweet! What a deal for these 'performance track' members. Of course any
company that meets and exceeds EPA standards should be commended. Laud
them in public, give them a place, hold them up as examples of good business.

Why should they be rewarded for simply doing the right thing?

These Performance Track facilities also get the slick multi-media packages.
Flags, event and conference planning, videos the list goes on and on. Any
business would have to pay ad agencys and PR firms a pretty penny for these
services.

The EPA has been spending tax payer dollars to give to these
Performance Track facilities. Sadly, by the EPA's Inspector General, only a meager 7 % of the members sampled of this lucky group were meeting their commitments to receive these lovely benefits.

Closing EPA field offices will only add to the benefits of the facilities to continue putting off compliance with Federal EPA laws.
