This Season Carbon is the New 'Black', Next Season Carbon may be the new Money!

One day I'll be changing the name of this blog from I Want My Money Man to I Want My Carbon Credits Man!

This is an incredible idea in the scheme of things. With Global Warming taking on a snowball effect, it won't be too long before Carbon Credits will be worth more than gold.

Multi-national corporations are already jockeying up for a desired post position when Carbon Credits become the new currency. This is a sleeper, but none the less huge.

HSBC who bills themselves as 'The World's Local Bank' looks to be the odds on favorite to win the Carbon Credit Savvy position. Claiming to have 'around 10,000 offices in 82 countries and territories across the world' when HSBC lines up for Carbon Credit we need to pay attention.

HSBC itself doesn't have a large carbon footprint, it recently committed to going carbon neutral. What better way to dig into the emissions trading scene? HSBC will develop the experience necessary to become the 'carbon currency experts'. HSBC has a small carbon footprint, but it has clients with large ones who will no doubt in the near future be needed carbon-financial planning. My hat is off to the Worlds Local Bank for seeing into the future and the what will inevitable 'carbon futures' trading.

With this in mind does anyone really have to wonder why Russia just jumped on the Kyoto Protocol?

Now we ask...Where is the US on this one. If there are no forces at work below the radar conspiring to bring the US down to its economic knees, it sure feels like there are.
